Material

Valve body, disc and clamp ring are made of carbon steel or cast iron, for the purpose to lower the cost and to have the valve available with a high performance-price ratio. All the portions contacting with the medium are coated with ceramic etc, corrosion proof coating so as to enhance the valve capacity to resist seawater corrosion. The shaft sleeve of valve is made of Duplex Stainless steel and uses an interference fit with the shaft hole on the body so as to effectively prevent the shaft hole against seawater corrosion.

Duplex Stainless Steel is used for the sealing face of the seat, in order to enhance both anti-corrosion capacity and wearability of the sealing.
