On August 29th, Genhe, Inner Mongolia, started central heating service, 3 days earlier than previous years, once again setting the record for the earliest heating date in China. The annual average temperature of Genhe City is -5.3℃, and the lowest temperature is -58℃.  The heating period is from September 1st to May 31st of the following year. The heating period lasts 9 months each year, making it the city with the longest heating period in China.
